Right or Wrong ??? What should it be ?

Right or Wrong ???

What is this blog about ? Well this is the topic which is the closest to my heart - and about which i had been wanting to write for aeons.

How do you define "Right" ? Is it something which you do and get a pleasing result in the end ? Or is it a profit-making decision ? Or for that matter, try defining "Wrong"... How do we classify a thing as "Wrong" ? Is it something immoral... or something rude...

When in Rome, act like a Roman is a proverb all of us have been listening since quite some time ... but what if we do something as a Roman, which we are not supposed to do otherwise - while NOT being a Roman ?

See my point ? Yeah, that's what I wanna say - गीता मे भी कहा गया है कि एक झूठ भी अगर सद्कर्म के लिए कहा गया है, तो वो सौ सच के समान है. So What is Right for someone, might invariably be Wrong for someone else ... So how do you get an Absolute definition for 'Right' or 'Wrong' ?

And if u can't get even a definition for that simple thing - how can the society judge its constituent members on the basis of just these two words - which are supposed to be antonyms of each other ... yet are extremely vague - both in their domain and range.

Over the years, I have been seeing life through my eyes. I would not like to exaggerate my experience - which is just 20 years old at the most - but all in all, whatever I have seen - I have come to a conclusion. I analyzed the aspects of Good and Bad, Right and Wrong, Nice and Dirty, and formed my personal opinion ... I never would like you to forcefully imitate the notion, but i would be pleased if u just could ponder over this for a minute or two...

I discovered that Nothing in this Nature is Right or Wrong - all that IS - is either just APPROPRIATE - or not. We all do the things which we think are appropriate to do. Even in a case when we see a 500-rupee note lying unattended on the ground, we ultimately do NOT steal it - because we think that if we do, we will surely get something as a 'punishment' from the almighty for stealing it. Is this not an unfair desire to keep our record clean ? Is this isn't wrong to bribe God and say in the morning prayer - "Dear God, I didn't pick that note up yesterday, so pls keep my log book clean and when you decide upon my fate when i come at your gates, give me Heaven, not Hell"...

So is this Right ? Or does it look Wrong to you ?

Confused .. eh ? That's why I said that all of us do and SHOULD do what WE think as APPRPRIATE... किसी भी चीज़ को करने के लिए दो बातो का होना बहोत ज़रूरी है - मौका और मौहौल।

Until and unless we don't do the Appropriate, we can't be happy.. so can't be others too... But if u say "How to decide what is apporpriate - and what's not ?" - i can only say "Trust your Heart, but don't forget to use your Head. Ever."

Hoping that this will put the mental cogwheels in motion ...

A good and most pondered over question indeed i would say.....
The answer to it by the way is way too simple and is one of the most beautiful flaw every living and non-living gets as a gift from the moment of its birth or inception (as per my opinion):

Nothing is perfect, not even the word (PERFECT) itself as it cannot be used for anything or anyone.

The idea people have used and are still using is that you call right something with which the immediate majority agrees and everything else may be put as wrong or in the grey area.

Liked the blog alot as this is something which had kept me intrigued as well till i found the answer. Read the blog today so late comment. :)
